Luminescent Balm- This calming, blue-toned bison tallow balm is formulated with essential oils that promote a serene sensory experience and deep hydration. Designed for use head-to-toe but especially loved as a facial balm, it shares its scent profile with our Luminescent Hydrating Serum.

Solid vs. Whipped Texture- Our solid balm is our original version—dense, salve-like, and deeply penetrating. Our whipped balm is lighter, more lotion-like in texture, and spreads easily over the skin. Both provide the same powerful skin benefits—just choose the texture that feels best to you.

Attention:  Rendered tallow typically starts softening around 95-100°F and fully melts somewhere between 100-110°F. During spring and summer months it is recommended to pop your new tallow in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes prior to opening. Most people do extremely well with tallow as their core moisturizer, but as with everything, there is always an exception to the rule and your skin may not love it. When applying to the face it is always recommended to apply to clean and gently exfoliated skin. Even better to apply to slightly damp skin, a good hydrosol spray is excellent to add hydration before applying your tallow.
